My main areas of interest include cybersecurity, articial intelligence, and data analytics.
Cybersecuity is an interest that I have developed through my time at Texas A&M university as I have progressed through my
degree plan. Specifically I am interested in new methods to secure cyberspace and how these methods might be implemented
on a large scale. I am interested in cybersecurity because I believe it has the ability to improve the quality of life for
people around the world. One aspect that I find important in my career is that I feel I am contributing to society and I
believe that cybersecurity has this aspect.
Articial Intelligence is an interest of mine that has only recently emerged with the rise of powerful AI tools
such as OpenAI's ChatGPT. One
of the reasons I am interested in AI is because I don't know much about it. Everyone knows how to open up ChatGPT and ask
it a question, but I want to know what is going on behind the scenes and how ChatGPT produces an appropriate response.
Data Analytics is a field that I knew very little about before I interned at ERCOT. After my internship, I have grown
fond of the field of data analytics and all that it has to offer.
